To my pleasant surprise, the food arrived warm and ready to eat. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, and pork fried wontons. The pork fried rice was absolutely delicious, loaded with large chunks of barbecued pork. The sweet and sour chicken was equally impressive, featuring tender white meat chicken and chunks of juicy pineapple. Even though there were no peppers or onions, it didn't detract from the overall flavor. Unfortunately, the pork fried wontons were a bit of a letdown. They were more like oily fritters and arrived cold. Despite this, my overall takeaway was positive and I would definitely order from New Shanghai again. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and would recommend giving it a try.

As for the food, I found it to be delicious overall. However, I did feel that some of the dishes were a bit on the pricier side. In particular, the egg rolls were tasty but disappointingly small in size. They reminded me more of lumpia than traditional egg rolls.
